The context

TaskHorse is a UAE-based portal for on-demand labour services. I built its mobile app, database and BE infra for a client.

My contribution

  • Built the app with TypeScript, React Native, and Supabase.
  • Implemented subscitpions using RevenueCat and notifications using Firebase.
  • Built In-App realtime chat between customers and service providers.
  • Implemented backend based dynamic pricing for services offered.
  • Used Supabase PostGIS for location tracking. Used GoogleMaps and AppleMaps to show location to customers and service providers.
  • Set up Husky and ESLint commit hooks.

What came together

The app combined an on-demand service flow with location tracking and a repeatable development workflow.
