The context

Sentinel is an AI Powered Surveillance System which detects anomalies from live video streams and alerts the user. My contributions focused on video streaming, notifications, and the infrastructure for storing and delivering recorded clips.

My contribution

  • Implemented real-time video streaming with WebRTC.
  • Integrated anomaly notifications using Firebase.
  • Hosted the Node.js web server on AWS.
  • Used S3 and CloudFront to store and deliver video clips.

What came together

These pieces connected the live viewing experience to notifications and recorded clips. My work focused on the streaming, notification, and cloud infrastructure behind the experience.
